In this immersive 3-day dance film workshop, participants will explore the intersection of movement and film through the lens of interoception—the awareness of internal bodily sensations. Through improvisation and meditation practices, participants will tap into their unique creative voice, opening up the sensory experience of the body. They will then experiment with cinematic tools and techniques to bring their movement to life on film. Together, we’ll watch and discuss dance films, explore experimental narratives, and engage in creative play.
